Prometheus before me brought fire to mankind
He purged them therewith of the ignorance of their minds
Likewise I bear bear I a fire in my breast
To cleanse the wicked of their hearts' darkness
Death to those who reject God's elect
In the twinkling of an eye, my flesh will be gone
I perish in fire, yet will I live on
In the grave I bear that which purifies
