Likewise bear I a fire in my breast
To cleanse the wicked of their hearts' darkness
Death to those who reject God's elect
In the twinkling of an eye, my flesh will be gone
I perish in fire, yet will I live on
In the grave I bear that which purifies
And at the Day of Resurrection, I too shall rise
